Fundamentals of AutoCAD LT

The Fundamentals of AutoCAD LT course is designed for the beginning AutoCAD user. It covers just about all of the 2D AutoCAD commands. Successful graduates of this course won't have any problem creating working drawings at the end. As part of the course you can specialize in Mechanical, Architecture, or Electrical AutoCAD at no extra cost.

Note: you must have access to ONE of the following versions of AutoCAD: LT2000, LT2000i, LT2002, LT2004, LT2005, LT2006, LT2007, LT2008, LT2009 LT2010 or LT2011 for this course. If you don't have access to AutoCAD check out out Student Version.

Fundamentals of AutoCAD LT Cost

Tuition: $333.00

This includes the entire Fundamentals course as well as one of the optional mechanical, electrical, or architectural specialization's.

Textbook: $0

The required textbook will be provided electronically via the course website.

CAD Card: $18.00

The CAD Card is optional, and can be purchased during registration. For more information on the CAD Card click here. The CAD Card price includes shipping and any applicable taxes.

Course Registration Procedure

1. Make sure you have the REQUIRED SOFTWARE.
Required Software

AutoCAD is not supplied as part of your enrollment and registration fees. You must have access to the correct version of AutoCAD to successfully complete the course. If you need access to AutoCAD check out the Student Version.

2. Register For the Course.
Credit Card Registration

Credit Card. Selecting the credit card option will take you to a secure site where you can register for the class via the internet. You also have the option of registering for the course using a credit card over the phone. We use CyberCash for the on-line transactions, the leading provider of secure Internet payment solutions worldwide.

Mail Registration

Mail. Selecting the mail option will take you to a form you can fill out and register for the non-credit class via the internet. After filling out the form, your space will be secured in the course for 5 business days, giving your payment time to arrive via conventional mail. You will need to send your payment for the appropriate course fee to the address listed on the form. Acceptable forms of payment are personal check, money order, or company purchase order.

Purchase Order. If you are going to pay by purchase order make sure you fill out the mail option and FAX a copy of the purchase order to 270-767-1633.

Refund Policy
Students are eligible for a full refund of tuition if officially withdrawn from class before the start date. NO refunds will be issued on textbooks and other course material. Students requesting withdrawal from a class must do so by sending an E-MAIL to cadregister@cadinstitute.com Tuition refunds that result from officially withdrawing will be made in accordance with the following dates:

Additional Information

bulletKeep in mind this is a comprehensive course on creating 2D drawings with AutoCAD. You should expect to spend a MINIMUM of 10 hours per week on the course.
bulletNote you must have the required equipment and software to enroll and successfully complete the course.
bulletWhile there is no pre-requisite for the course, you should be familiar with basic computer operations. You should know how to use E-MAIL to send and receive files, feel comfortable using the internet, be familiar with basic file management procedures (creating a subdirectory, opening and closing a file etc).
