Fundamentals of
AutoCAD R14
The Fundamentals of AutoCAD R14 course is designed for the beginning
AutoCAD user. It covers just about all of the 2D AutoCAD commands. Successful graduates of
this course won't have any problem creating working drawings at the end. As part of the
course you can specialize in Mechanical, Architecture, or Electrical AutoCAD. Note you
must have access to AutoCAD R14 for this course. If you don't have access to AutoCAD check
out out Student Version.

Course Registration Procedure

1. Make sure you have the REQUIRED SOFTWARE. |
 |
AutoCAD is not supplied as part of your enrollment and registration
fees. You must have access to the correct version of AutoCAD to
successfully complete the course. If you need access to AutoCAD check out the Student Version.

2. Register For the Course. |
 |
Credit Card.
Selecting the
credit card option
will take you to a secure site where you can register for the class via the internet. You
also have the option of registering for the course using a credit card over the phone. We
use CyberCash for the on-line transactions, the
leading provider of secure Internet payment solutions worldwide.

Mail.
Selecting the mail
option will take you to a
form you can fill out and register for the non-credit
class via the internet. After filling out the
form, your space will be secured in the course for 5 business days, giving your payment
time to arrive via conventional mail. You will need to send your payment for the
appropriate course fee to the address listed on the form. Acceptable forms of payment are
personal check, money order, or company purchase order.

3. Textbook Information. |

The course will use Fundamentals of AutoCAD by Steven Combs and Jay Zirbel (ISBN
0-13-011302-6).

Refund Policy
Students are eligible for a full refund of tuition if officially
withdrawn from class before the start date. NO refunds will be issued on textbooks and
other course material. Students requesting withdrawal from a class must do so by sending
an E-MAIL to
registrar@cadinstitute.com.
Tuition refunds that result from officially withdrawing will be made in accordance with
the following dates:

Additional Information
 | Keep in mind this is a comprehensive course on creating 2D drawings with
AutoCAD. You should expect to spend a MINIMUM of 10 hours per week on the course. |
 | Note you must have the required equipment and software to enroll and
successfully complete the course. |
 | While there is no pre-requisite for the course, you should be familiar
with basic computer operations. You should know how to use E-MAIL to send and receive
files, feel comfortable using the internet, be familiar with basic file management
procedures (creating a subdirectory, opening and closing a file etc).
